Maximize Communication Reach with LumApps Integrations

Gallagher points out in his report “State of the (internal communications) Sector 2021”, that the implementation of a new corporate culture comes at the top of these change management programs, linked to work on values, an evolution of strategy or a pivot in the vision of the company.

  • 43% of companies surveyed by Gallagher have planned a culture change program during the year (values, behaviors and styles),
  • 40% have planned a process change or new ways of working.

Reach employees through their preferred communication channels

Rely on an internal communication platform to disseminate the company's key messages is a no-brainer. Connectors with communication tools and apps

Our Microsoft customers and their internal communications departments rely on Microsoft Teams to disseminate information and knowledge (such as articles, news, or posts) from ad-hoc LumApps pages (for example, from the HR portal or the IT support page) to the appropriate Teams channels or “channels”, thus guaranteeing employees to be informed via their preferred communication channels.

 

These top-down communication capabilities can be complemented by a bottom-up approach, by sharing content from a Teams channel to LumApps (making it accessible via the platform's native search).

Some companies prefer Slack to Teams to facilitate collaboration and exchanges. LumApps also provides equivalent functionality to Slack. The information exchanged in Slack can be shared in a LumApps community for example. Communicators can also relay “top-down” key messages from the platform to the appropriate Slack channels, as displayed in the ad hoc pages.
LumApps' tree structure is completely defined (unlike Slack's structure), so it is easier for an internal communication manager to find the right channel to reach the audience(s) they want target.

With these Slack connectors, pages for IT, HR, or any other department on the LumApps platform can include live chat features. The same is true for the Meetings and internal events type pages, where communicators can immediately answer questions from employees.

Meetings, internal events and other team meetings in virtual mode are accessible directly in the LumApps platform thanks to our integration with Zoom, which provides access and contextual information (such as the agenda, the names of the speakers, a link to the presentation or a survey, etc.). Allowing collaborators to ask questions live from LumApps pages and have real-time discussions via the Zoom chat panel will increase engagement, a critical goal during key announcements.

Attractive graphic rendering of messages

Business objectives, recruitment plans, competitive analysis, reorganization and organizational charts… Some key messages are rich in data or other tables. A picture is worth a thousand words, this type of message will be all the better assimilated if it is complemented by attractive visuals.
