LumApps Offers an Emergency Crisis Communication Solution

LumApps is one of the 20 critical applications recommended by the French administration to ensure European business continuity in times of crisis. LumApps will offer businesses free access to a secure cloud-based communication platform.

With the spread of COVID-19, companies are facing challenging times and are forced to rethink their organizational structure in order to better cope with the current crisis. LumApps wants to contribute and keep employees informed, engaged, and productive during the coronavirus crisis.

From March 16, 2020, as part of the operation set up by the French government in support of businesses, LumApps will offer an Emergency Crisis Communication Cloud Solution, for those wishing to get quick answers to their emergency internal communication issues and provide a digital workplace that will enable employees to work from home.

LumApps offering for enterprises will include:

  • A cloud intranet portal with pre-built use cases, social communities, and mobile apps
  • Templates, tutorials, and training programs to help companies get started and quickly onboard people to the platform

These features are typically part of LumApps’ enterprise offerings and will be available at no additional cost to all customers until June 30, 2020.

The crisis communication platform offered by LumApps is based on a secure cloud that is also available on mobile phones and allows companies to publish news profiled by area of expertise, country and language so that all employees can benefit in real time from all the information. Question and answer spaces also invite employees to share their concerns with their employers, who can respond individually or collectively and instantly. Collaborative and social, this tool made available by LumApps aims to ensure the continuity of work in these troubled times.
