If you’ve been a Beekeeper customer for a while, you may have heard that we joined forces with LumApps last summer. You might have seen the announcement, or maybe this is the first you’re hearing about it.
Either way, we want to make sure you have a clear picture of what this means — for your platform, your teams, and what comes next.
The short version: Beekeeper isn’t going anywhere. It’s becoming part of something bigger.
In July 2025, Beekeeper and LumApps officially merged, backed by Bridgepoint, to create the first AI-powered Employee Hub built for both desk-based and frontline workers.
LumApps is a global leader in enterprise intranet solutions — used by more than 7 million people across 2,000+ organizations. While LumApps has long served corporate and desk-based teams, Beekeeper has always been focused on the frontline: the workers on the shop floor, in the field, behind the counter, and on the move.
Together, we’re building a platform that connects those two worlds — from HQ to the frontline — without forcing teams to stitch together separate tools to get there.

Nothing has changed about the Beekeeper experience you use today. Your login, your data, your support contacts, and your contract all remain exactly as they are.
What’s changing is what you’ll have access to over time.
As the two platforms come together over the next 12–18 months, Beekeeper customers will gain access to a broader set of capabilities — including more powerful AI, richer content tools, and deeper integrations — while keeping the mobile-first, frontline-focused experience that makes Beekeeper work for the teams who need it most.
You don’t have to wait to start getting more value! Two capabilities are already available to Beekeeper customers today.
Most training tools pull employees away from their work. LumApps Learning brings knowledge checks and operational excellence directly into the hub your teams already use. So frontline workers can complete onboarding steps, safety protocols, and compliance courses without switching apps or waiting for a scheduled session.
Managers get visibility into completion and certification status across their teams. Workers get the guidance they need, right when they need it.
Micro-Apps turn common tasks from other systems into simple, in-app actions inside Beekeeper. Instead of logging into Workday to request time off or tracking down an IT ticket in a separate tool, employees can do it directly from the Beekeeper home screen.
That means less tool-switching for frontline workers, fewer repetitive questions for HR and IT, and faster approvals for managers.
Most corporate video content never reaches the frontline. It lives in an intranet that field workers can’t easily access, or in a tool that requires a full-screen web browser to navigate.
LumApps Play changes that. Video content — from leadership announcements to safety training to onboarding — can now be published, managed, and delivered directly through the platform your frontline teams already use. Workers can watch on any device, in the field, on the floor, or on the go, with adaptive streaming that adjusts to their connection.
For communications and HR teams, it means full control over who sees what, without needing technical skills to manage it. Searchable transcripts, automated subtitles, and built-in analytics mean your video content doesn’t just get posted — it gets found, watched, and measured.
The goal is a single, connected platform where every part of your workforce — from corporate offices to distribution centers to retail floors — has what they need to stay informed, get work done, and keep moving.
We know frontline teams have different needs than desk workers. That’s been true since Beekeeper was founded, and it remains true now. The merger doesn’t change that focus — it gives us more resources to go deeper on it.
More capabilities, more integrations, more AI. All built around the way frontline work actually happens.
We know change can raise questions, and we’d rather you have answers than assumptions.
