New Microsoft Data Proves AI Tops Everyone’s List

Jean-Christophe Dupuy is the Modern Work Director at Microsoft France, and he recently shared the results of a major new study capturing the thoughts and predictions of 30k respondents across globally industries about coming work trends. With AI at the forefront of everyone’s mind, at a recent Bright Conference, Dupuy explored what human/machine teams might look like in the not-too-distant future and offered insights into how enterprises can move with the times, backed by cutting-edge research and data-driven acumen.

What You’ll Discover

With over 30 years of experience in the digital space, Microsoft’s Jean-Christophe Dupuy offers a bold vision of the future of work – a market propelled by what he calls “frontier firms” – companies on the path to integrating AI as autonomous agents, led by human direction.

In his talk Dupuy identifies three phases that frontier firms will go through while establishing the human/machine blueprint. While he says this hybrid way of working is not the current reality for many organizations, many businesses have embarked on the journey.

Phase 1: An enterprise provides its employees with AI assistance to help them work more efficiently.

Phase 2: Complex agents are introduced that can assist employees as a colleague – developing a marketing plan or study, for example.

Phase 3: Agents work as autonomous entities, led by human direction.

Watch Dupuy’s talk to find out more about the three phases of a frontier firm.
