Randstad France was recognised after submitting their story with LumApps: Work Together As One, Leveraging The Present To Prepare The Future.

Launching a digital workplace for employees

Randstad is the global leader in the HR services industry by serving as a trusted human partner in today’s technology-driven world of talent. In 2016, Randstad France started working on a new digital workplace project in collaboration with LumApps, it launched Com’unity. This new portal connected Randstad employees and gave access to all news and business applications. With Com’unity, Randstad and LumApps created a modern digital workplace, fully personalised for each employee (depending on the business unit).

Accordingly with LumApps community values, Randstad’s goals were to:

  • PROMOTE a common culture and involve its employees (human forward)
  • SIMPLIFY the work of employees and improve productivity
  • CAPTURE and share knowledge (peer to peer/team communities)
  • CONNECT all employees from anywhere (thanks to mobile)

 

Opening social channels

In 2019, Randstad decided to take up a new challenge: launching value-driven communities. They launched multiple business communities along with a global community. In terms of KPIs, 4,800 employees have access to the #teamrandstad community and 2,266 (47%) connected during the two first weeks. Proving strong overall engagement, 100% of the connected employees interacted (likes, posts or comments) inside the global community.

Communities are very important during crisis time, offering a dedicated space to employees to express themselves and connect to each other. For instance, the COVID-19 crisis leverages community adoption. Randstad encourages employees to share best practices and their remote offices to get to know each other and share their daily life – they remain united even during remote work and crisis situations.
