An innovative intranet for retail
The collaboration between the Etam group and LumApps has created an innovative digital retail tool: a new intranet space that serves the communication needs of stores, using the native functionalities of Google’s collaborative suite (Hangouts, Gmail, Calendar, TeamDrive and Google Docs, Google Groups) to bring physically disparate teams together.
Boosting employee interactivity in stores
Etam has structured their LumApps intranet in the form of an on-brand interactive publication, INTRA Mag. Since INTRA Mag was installed on in-store iPads, employees have direct access to relevant internal news, and can now follow the beat of headquarters in real time. They can access:
- Company and market updates: articles, events, jobs, and more
- The brand’s take on trends and how to convey them to customers
- Business goals for managers at each location, responsive to information from decision-makers at HQ
- A talent section to help employees with their personal and professional development
Better employee education, better service
In its facilitation of communication between store branches and HQ, INTRA Mag is an outstanding example of technical agility in the service of a corporate community. This digital space allows the ETAM Group to create a real connection with all its employees and to simplify the exchanges between Headquarters and stores, in turn enhancing the customer’s shopping experience.
